Not only is it our nation’s big 250th birthday, but it also marks a huge milestone in our very own neighborhood: Chet and Barbara Ehrenzeller will be celebrating 50 years in their home!
So this year, we have the perfect reason to bring everyone together—neighbors, friends, and families—to celebrate our country and two wonderful people who have been part of this community for half a century.
It promises to be a fun, memorable gathering, and we hope everyone will come out and be part of it.
Celebrations like this don’t come around very often!
Since they moved in during the Bicentennial of ’76, they figured there was no better way to celebrate the Semiquincentennial than a historic neighborhood bash—and they’ve generously offered to cover the costs to make it happen.
Even if you have previously expressed interest via email in attending, please take a moment and formally RSVP HERE!

The planning is nearly complete for a neighborhood-wide celebration centered around the Ehrenzeller residence.
Think classic Americana: a massive cookout and nostalgia from the last five decades.
Festivities to begin between 3:30 and 4:00 pm with a Firetruck led parade to the Ehrenzeller Estate.
Catering provided by Malbon Bros. BBQ and Catering
Beer provided by Wasserhund Brewery
Wine, soft drinks and water provided by the Civic League

Count Us In: Would your household be interested in attending? If so, how many people?
Helping Hands: Would you be open to helping with setup/food/cleanup?
The Archives: Do you have any old photos of the neighborhood from years past to share?

Let’s make this 4th of July one for the history books!
Don’t forget to bring your camera to preserve the moment!
